Tasks that plan and execute
A task in Buddy is no longer just a line to remember. Buddy drafts a step-by-step plan for it: research the topic, block focus time, draft the document, remind you before the deadline. Press Execute all and the safe steps run on their own, while anything that reaches another person waits for your confirmation. Suggestions you ignore fade away quietly instead of piling up. And if you work with a coding agent, it can now use the same task list from the terminal with the bnote CLI, delegating research and drafting to Buddy while you keep the final say.
A public API and the bnote CLI
Reach your tasks, notes, and events through a read and write REST API with Clerk API keys, or drive Buddy from your terminal with the bnote command line tool. Plan and run tasks without leaving your editor.
A faster editor with live collaboration
The daily note and pages run on a new native editor. Edit together in real time, keep writing offline, and never lose a keystroke when you reconnect.

Buddy AI now works inside any page
Open any page and Buddy AI is right beside your notes. Select some text or use the whole memo, then ask Buddy AI to explain, expand, or help you think it through — the same assistant you reach with ⌘/Ctrl + Enter in your daily note. Its answer appears in its own panel and never overwrites what you wrote: you choose whether to append it to your memo or copy it. You stay in control; Buddy just helps. The one-click "Organize" cleanup is unchanged — it just moved next to Share. Available in all languages.
Speak your to-dos — AI builds the list
Next to Organize in your daily note, tap the new voice button and say today's to-dos out loud, one at a time. Each pause becomes one concise task — AI cleans up the wording and adds it to a live numbered list as you talk. Finish, and the tasks drop into your note as checkboxes plus a saved card in the side panel. No typing, no formatting.
Share your meeting memos — transcript and AI summary
Send any meeting recording's transcript and AI-generated summary to teammates (or people who weren't in the room) with one click. Email invites with viewer / editor permissions, the same way you share pages. Transcripts stay read-only; editors can refine the summary.
Buddy in your browser
Record a voice memo from any tab, ask Buddy about the page you are reading, or send selected text straight to your notes with a right click.
Rebranded to Buddy AI Note — memo-first
Buddy AI is now Buddy AI Note. The daily memo is the primary surface; email and calendar features are reframed as enrichment layers feeding into your memo. The new tagline: "Your daily memo, organized by AI."

Booking links and calendar feeds
Share a booking page so others can pick a time that works, and publish an iCal feed so your Buddy events show up in any calendar app.
